Paasa (YC S24, Fintech Startup) - Software Engineer Intern

May 2026 - Aug. 2026

Architected model-portfolio platform end-to-end — analytics engine, auto-rebalancing, market notes for advisors & clients.
Shipped audited, API-driven execution layer → eliminated manual order placement, saving 200+ ops hrs/week.
Rebuilt instrument ingestion on IBKR/OpenFIGI (~90K instruments): 6hr cron → minutes.
Drove redesigns across cash systems + a deeply coupled, ~10K-line trading service file (~10 authored design docs) as AUM grew $15M → $80M; prototyped Paasa's first FIX engine in Kotlin.
